- Dosage: Insert one applicatorful (approximately 5 grams, containing about 100 mg of clindamycin phosphate) intravaginally at bedtime for 7 consecutive nights. In some cases, a 3-day regimen may be effective, but this should be determined by a healthcare provider. - Instructions: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the cream and applicator. 2. Remove the cap from the cream tube and attach the applicator securely. 3. Gently squeeze the tube to fill the applicator until the plunger stops. 4. Detach the filled applicator from the tube and replace the tube cap. 5. While lying on your back with knees bent, gently insert the applicator into the vagina as far as comfortable. 6. Slowly press the plunger to release the cream into the vagina. 7. Withdraw the applicator and dispose of it if it's designed for single use, or clean it thoroughly if it's reusable. - Precautions: Avoid vaginal intercourse, using tampons, or douching during treatment. Clindamycin can weaken latex or rubber contraceptive devices (e.g., condoms, diaphragms); do not use these during treatment and for at least 72 hours after completing therapy.
